City seeking New Vendor for Marina's Largest Public Park and Important Historic Legacy

Updated: Dec 26, 2020

Marina's largest public park is its most hidden. The hospital that served the Fort Ord War Horses used in the Cavalry and Field Artillery units has remained untouched, obscured by layers of modifications and years of neglect. The time has come for that to change.

Our organization was formed to manage Marina's largest public park and to restore the last and only complete US Army WWII Equine Surgical Hospital in the United States.

Our vision is to take what has been hidden and give it back to the public.

We have a list of recreation vendors and a broad, collaborative vision to create a mixed use park.

The most exciting part: The restoration of the historic buildings, the last and only complete WWII US Army Equine Veterinary Surgical Hospital in the country. We have exciting and innovative ideas in our vision for creating a hands on, living museum. Register to stay tuned for updates.....
